Job description

Waste Connections has an immediate opening for an aircraft Captain. The Captain reports to the Flight Department Manager and is responsible for the safety of our passengers, other crew members and the aircraft. Before each flight, the Captain, along with the Co-Pilot and the Flight Coordinator will oversee flight planning that includes but is not limited to fuel planning, weight and balance and performance planning, route, weather, and alternate requirements.

In addition, the Captain will adhere to company standards and procedures while also complying with all FAA regulations and/or the regulations dictated by any country in which we operate. The Captain is also expected to contribute to and continue the success that has allowed the Waste Connections Flight Department to hold an IS-BAO Stage 3 Safety Certification. We are looking for a candidate with a “can do” service attitude, working within a “fit for flight” culture.
