Additional requirements
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in airline pilot training or aviation operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing ground training programs.
Must have strong knowledge of FAA Part 121 regulations, including Subparts N (Training) and O (Qualification). Advanced Qualification Program (AQP), and TSA security requirements related to pilot training are desirable.
Proven airline management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and evaluate instructional staff; effectively manage multiple priorities; and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within a complex operational environment.
Proven experience developing, managing, and obtaining regulatory approval for pilot training curricula and distance learning programs.
Excellent motivation skills and ability to foster a teamwork environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a calm demeanor under high-pressure situations.
Excellent leadership and critical thinking skills.
Highly organized and self-managed individual with ability to work with little or no direct supervision.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Company policies and procedures.
Ability to write manuals, training materials, and courseware for aircraft specific and airline general requirements.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and data reporting software.
Minimum 10% travel required.
Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support a 24-hour operational environment and meet business needs.
Critical to onsite operations and requires working on location under general office and general flight conditions in aircraft.
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and evaluate instructional staff; manage multiple priorities; and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Experience in effective people management, conflict resolution, and resource allocation is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, administrative, technical, and communication skills are preferred to support cross-functional collaboration and decision-making.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to keep track of many moving parts and identify irregularities timely
Ability to engage with and establish credibility with at the most senior/executive level. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences and collaborate across teams.
Analytical ability to evaluate data and information to make operational decisions.
Proficient in identifying, tracking, and analyzing key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in training effectiveness and compliance.
Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Ability to proactively identify and resolve training-related issues and operational challenges quickly and effectively.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Education, Human Factors, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred.

Summary
Salary Range: $110,500-$149,500
