Additional requirements

Position requires a U.S. security clearance.
B.A.B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.
Formal training in OSHA, EPA, and hazardous waste storage and handling and disposal procedures.
Graduate from a DOD Aviation Safety and Accident Investigation or FAA, NTSB or accredited university aircraft accident investigation course.
Minimum of five 5 years experience as an Aviation Safety Officer/Manager.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Project and Visio).

Preferred

Extensive experience in risk management and mitigation.
Understanding of aviation related quality assurance programs.
Prior Department of State WASS support experience
