Ability to attain and maintain clearance up to SECRET
Successful completion of a standard professional curriculum in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor’s degree is required.
Beginner to intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites, including use of other office equipment such as printers, scanners, etc. Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
Ability to use NASA’s NAMIS database for aircraft operations. Prior experience preferred.
Support routine and on-demand reporting (e-mail, documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials).
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members. Excellent interpersonal skills preferred.
Prior experience and ability to develop and effectively brief mission and/or flight plans with pilots, crew, researchers, and managers, regardless of passenger flight experience to meet NASA program and/or project objectives
Become subject matter experts of flight operations for each aircraft, providing expert-level insights and planning to integrate unique research hardware and/or aircraft modifications to meet research objectives, based on personal familiarization of the intended research. Prior experience with research flight and/or operations preferred.
Ability to operate aircraft in compliance with applicable manuals and checklists and the ability to modify those manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures, while maintaining compliance with all applicable NASA requirements and directives to attain research / mission / flight objectives.
Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up. Excellent interpersonal skills preferred.
Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista Tactical, LLC goals.
