Additional requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years experience substitution must be in related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of consecutive ground instruction experience in a teaching/training environment, especially where the material is designed for adult (over 18 years old) participants, preferred.
  • Ability to speak confidently to large groups on technical subject matter
  • Holds advanced skills in Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Has leadership skills
  • Can provide a record of past teaching success

Preferred

  • Ground Instructor Certificate with an instrument rating (IGI) and an advanced rating (AGI)
