Detailed knowledge, gained by formal training and work experience, of the DND operational airworthiness rules and standards (RCAF Aerospace Warfare Centre (RAWC), Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) Course, or equivalent).
Detailed understanding of all Chief Pilot responsibilities, including the DND Airworthiness Review Board (ARB) process.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Flight Standards and Evaluation section or working in a Flight Test and Evaluation unit, with progressively more responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years related supervisory experience within a flying unit or air service whose flight operations are similar in size and scope.
Prior Chief Pilot experience.
Incumbent must be eligible for Government Personnel Security Clearance.
Preferred
Completion of RCAF Instrument Check Pilot Course is preferred.
CAF Joint Command and Staff Program (JCSP), or equivalent, qualification.
Competent in the use of MS Office.
Bilingual or Second Language profile of BBB is considered an asset.
Foster partnership and business relations with key stakeholders.
