Valid FAA proficiency check completed within the last 2 years
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an active pilot crewmember with aircrew instructor/evaluator qualifications and prior operations experience in heavy jet aircraft
Knowledge and proficient understanding of DoD and FAA aviation rules and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of the theory of flight, air navigation, meteorology, FAA and ICAO directives/instructions, aircraft operating procedures, and flight operations
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
Demonstrated skill in problem solving, decision making, logistics management, program & production management abilities
Job description
As a Second in Command, you will be responsible for providing for providing Second in Command (SIC) 747 pilot flight operations. Additional responsibilities include: mission planning and airworthiness discussions; testing and implementing process improvements; readiness meetings; relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performing a variety of complicated tasks.
