Pros

The B737NG is the only pro, and the aircraft is NOT Spring Japan, think about it.

Cons

The main and general management do NOT speak english nor like you as foreigner, they need you as worker and therefore TOLERATE you, this, does not mean they like you or would look for you if they do not needed you. So, everything goes through a lady who speaks english who happened to be married to a pilot inside the company, so there is a lot of "bias" .

Advice to management

The management really really suck, all of them ex-JAL or with JAL in a a small roll for the group, the outcast from the main JAL. All of them from the CEO a 43 year old inexperienced ex-JAL LAX ground staff, the Flt. OPs. mediocre a guy who was expelled from JAL main due to his incompetence. The HR, a 41yrs old kid who use to be the JAL connection for the JAL pilot-student wannabe in Canada.

Advice to future employees

Read and you will see where will you be landing. Also, consider that all, and absolute all Japanese pilots as Captain, are ex-JAL and one (nice) air-DO, are retired, angry and hate their lives and you, for the fact that you are not from JAL (one of them said: you (me foreigner) have no school , like we do ex-JAL's) is a problem. The foreigners who fly with Spring, are Koreans who hate Japan but, happen to be "educating their kids" in Japan, therefore they "stand" Japanese, a Panamanian who was kicked from COPA, a genius Indian who only god know what he is he doing in Spring (maybe again the kids been educated in Japan) and a South African who is a great guy! and a Belgian pilot who has been everywhere and is near retirement , and you (reader) who will be a looser by joining this airline with your kids and education in Japan as an excuse! when there are really better, good and way more profitable jobs out there. If you come to Spring Japan, you will get that: Spring Japan.

No Money, No Aircraft, No Days Off, No Commute... NO POINT in joining

Pros

Small, personal and you are know by name not by number

Cons

Old Aircraft, No Work Life Balance, No Network, No Schedule, No Destinations, No future

Advice to management

They do not speak English, they do not like nor accept (literal) foreigners, they are JAL employees on assignment to Spring, so they do NOT care they just want to go back to JAL main line. A real and absolute waste of time.

Advice to future employees

No point on joining Spring, (nor Skymark) since you will have no Work Life Balance, let alone make money or have time off... they do NOT offer Commuting and if they did some time ago, you fly Economy. Japanese is official language and those few who speak English inside the company do it bad and wrong, so a lot of misunderstandings . Japanese prefer Japanese by all means, YOU Foreigner are NOT welcome, you are just needed for work and therefore you will be just TOLERATED. Plenty of job outside the Island, think not two or three time before coming here.
