Awesome leadership cascading down to quite a positive company culture, in all aspects
Workload is quite high, but still is good
Continue on the line of management you already have
Go for Emirates, the #1 best in all aspects
World wide operation new aircraft
Punitive environment
Respect human rights
Realize you hand in your human rights when you go work for them .
Career Prospective
Awful training, awful environment, fear factor from all management starting from fleet and training
Change Job
Unless you are fully, totally work addicted and you dont have another life outside your job AVOID Emirates
Flying a big jet around the world from 20 min flights to 15h flights in a multinational team
Management culture, constant fear factor, backstabbing amongst co-workers, hour fixing, punitive culture, no appreciation of work force
Value your employees without whom you can not exist, recall all interested parties who you made redundant due covid 19
Do not bite the hand that feeds you
Modern fleet, professional colleagues, high standard of performance, worldwide network. Socially the support is optimal in case of family issues.
Unreliable conditions as NO labour protection, driving force is not fleet as they are a secondary trier below everyone else. continued pressure to 'optimise' at the expense of the pilot community. very punitive culture. sick days officially don't influence your career, however they do. Using Long haul flights and short haul flights mixed to make you fly more hours. they will burn you up as there is no labour protection as stated above.
Be honest and fair to your workforce, not just short term gain as an objective.
Take a very good look if this is the job for you, It can be but one needs to keep a watchful eye on your quality of life goals, not just shiny new aircrafts.
Good staff travel
Poor rostering, no work flexibility, various HR policies dependent on nationality of pilots
Improve rostering and flexibility to standard industry norms
Consider very carefully
