Good maintenance standards.
Poor workplace culture.Internal politics and favoritism...lack of professinalism among ATR expat instructors where they favor there own people.
Management should promote professionalism, transparency, and equal opportunities for all employees while fostering a more inclusive and respectful workplace culture...
Thoroughly research upgrade policies and career advancement opportunities before joining, as actual progression may differ from what is initially communicated... Better look elsewhere not a right place to work
New modern fleet, good environment to live in.
There is no just culture at Air Mauritius, the safety office is used as a weapon and many personal vendettas are settled through this office. There is no fair system and pilots are treated without fairness or consistency. Expats are not really wanted and they want to move forward with a Mauritian only pool, but they will take pilots for the short term…hence the 1 year contracts only for expats.
Standardization and consistency, proper documentation of all procedures. Practice fairness and unbiased procedures. Look after the crew and the crew will look after the operation.
Do your homework.
Maintenance, paid on time, destinations
You are tolerated like the EXPAT that you are.
Go and experience what its like to be an EXPAT, and treat expats with civility
