Management attempts to force pilots into undisclosed, astronomical training bonds. In my experience, they demanded a $70,000 USD bond despite not providing a type rating. This was not disclosed during the interview process.

Advice to management

Be transparent with your contracts. Trying to trap pilots with arbitrary debt is not a retention strategy; it is a reason for your best talent to leave for a professional airline like MIAT, for example.

Advice to future employees

Avoid this operator unless you want to be legally handcuffed to a sinking ship. Aero Mongolia management uses predatory tactics to trap pilots.
