Young aircraft fleet, various destinations from small domestic to large international, generally good atmosphere in the cockpit and decent salary for Captains (by local standards). There is no corporate pressure concerning health issues, you just call in sick and they will activate a standby colleague to operate the flight. Cabin crews strive to keep passengers happy, resulting in a good company reputation for which employees can be proud of.. SOP’s are regularly re-adjusted for optimum safety and efficiency.
The company has always been “Captain-centered”. The FO’s salaries are 50% less than that of the Captains and they don’t get any productivity bonus (even when the cabin crew gets one). The command upgrade takes a long time and the pass rates are low (generally the first time pass rate is 30% after 6-7 years in the company). Concerning the roster it is quite heavy, especially for Captains, with an average of 800-850 flight hours/year (duty time is twice that number). Many 4 sectors days (sometimes mixed international/domestic) and very long night flights. Fatigue can be an issue. Concerning the training, it is still not completely standardised, which means that the trainee is trying to adapt to each instructor’s “style”, not to have a hard time in the sim. There is a very high employee turn over rate in the cabin which means that often there is little experience among the cabin crew members with the Senior being the only one with adequate situational awareness.
You definitely need to hire more people because we fly too much.. Motivate the first officers with better salaries and higher command upgrade pass rates (maybe by wondering how other larger companies train their pilots to successfully upgrade after 4-5 years..). Offer better conditions for the cabin crew for them to stay in the company and gain experience.
If you’re a Captain and you want to live in Greece, go for it but be prepared to work hard. You will possibly struggle to keep a healthy work/life balance during 6 months per year (winter is ok). If you are a fresh FO you will learn a lot and enjoy the flying part but, career-wise (salary, upgrade, long haul..), you will probably feel the need to change to a different company after 2-3 years.
Very nice atmosphere to work and nice destinations to fly to. Fleet is quite new and aircrafts well maintained.
Schedule and workload during summer is really high and money isn’t the best you can find out there.
Offer part-time opportunities and bigger blocks of days off
Overall nice company to work for some time with pros and cons mentioned.
Nice Company in a beautyful country
The expat contrac it's not the best in terms of insurance and benefits

Modern fleet, nice destinations, great training. Lots of manual flying. High quality equipment.
Minimum rest with early starts after late finishes. No commuting contract. Rather low basic pay and no additional benefits (like loss of license etc).
None
Prepare for maximum duty times and busy summer schedule. Great opportunity to learn a lot and to gain hours.
