- Ability to hold Chief Pilot CASA approval
- Well versed in the regulations, industry awards and contracts and company requirements that affect fleet operations, training, licensing, and standard operating procedures
- Operational expertise of company aircraft and equipment currently operated
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the ‘big picture’
- Exemplary decision-making skills, with the ability to assimilate complex information quickly, weighing up alternatives and making sound, timely decisions
- Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives with a proven record of successfully managing change
- Demonstrated experience in effective people leadership, including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of stakeholders
