Type Rating in L-39 Training Certification + recent flying experience in associated type. Individual will be required to complete this training within 30 days if they do not currently fulfill this
Maturity and professionalism to interface with a team of discipline engineers in Mission Control Room.
Work well in either a team environment or independently.
Position requires willingness to accept changing and evolving roles & responsibilities in support of customers’ requirements and need.
Active Security Clearance. SAP Eligibility may be required.
Candidates must live within two (2) hours of Edwards AFB.
Preferred

Job description
Serve as Pilot-In-Command on single or multiple aircraft platform types to include L-39, Learjet 35, and Citation II at Edwards AFB and other CONUS locations. Plan, coordinate, and conduct chase, ferry, and support of production and non-production aircraft. Create procedures and processes for MTSI operations and test support documentation. Ensure safety of flight and positive communications with external agencies based on real time operations considerations.
Compensation and benefits
Summary
The pay range for this position in California is $90/hour to $120/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
