The qualifications for the Director of Operations will meet or exceed the qualifications required under FAR 119.65(d) and 119.67(a).
Have at least 3 years supervisory or management experience within the last 6 years in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted with large airplanes.
In the case of a person becoming a Director of Operations, for the first time ever, have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as PIC of a large airplane operated under Part 121.
In the case of a person becoming a Director of Operations, with previous experience as a Director of Operations, have at least 3 years experience as PIC of a large airplane operated under Part 121.
