Bachelor’s Degree in a related field AND a minimum of 4 years relevant experience OR a minimum of 8 years equivalent relevant education and experience
Must demonstrate a superior customer-oriented attitude
Must demonstrate proficiency using a presentation program (Prezi, Power Point, Keynote etc.)
Must be positive, detail/team oriented, organized, a driven problem solver with proven success in solving difficult problems, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize/work proactively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to develop training products that are clear, engaging, technically accurate, and follow a logical sequence
Ability and product knowledge to tailor system information, based on available time and customer airframe, into a coherent presentation that meets customer needs
Ability to manage and tailor a class with a wide range of Garmin and industry avionics experience
Comfortable conducting training with audiences varying from one-on-one, to standard classes of 10 – 20 students, and to larger audiences with 300 or more attendees
Must possess experience in the aviation industry and working with and/or using avionics
Demonstrated knowledge of Garmin avionics products
Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Possess product knowledge to tailor system information, based on available time and customer airframe, into a coherent presentation that meets customer needs
Demonstrated project management skills to ensure training programs and products are developed and implemented to meet cost, time, and scope/quality objectives

Experience in developing interactive, multimedia training materials
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Understand engineering documents such as install manuals and wiring diagrams
Advanced understanding of PowerPoint
Experience with multiple Garmin avionics platforms or systems
A&P License
Knowledge of competitive avionics
Practical experience in post-secondary or adult education
Basic computer science understanding
Comfortable using audio visual equipment
Master’s Degree in aviation-related field, business management, engineering, adult education, or position-related field
Training department or training provider experience
