Additional requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation, airport management, political science, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience working in state and local government, airport management, or aviation advocacy.
  • Strong leadership and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to travel to state capitols, conferences, aviation events and airports (in general aviation aircraft when appropriate), and on occasion be called upon to work hours that exceed a normal workweek.
  • Must reside within the assigned region, in an approved state. This position is remote. Incumbent must reside in CA, AZ, or OR.

Summary

  • The salary range for this position is: $90,000 - $100,000 depending on education and experience.
  • Flight Training (learn to fly for free) & Flight Proficiency Program
