Additional requirements
- High level of knowledge of the technical information of the subject matter, as well as the ability to apply and adjust instructional methods.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written format
- Good people skills / customer focus
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team environment
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
- Have or have held a Canadian Commercial Pilot License with multi-IFR Rating
- Have or have held a valid Instrument Rating, and a type rating for the type of aircraft on which training will be given
- No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
- Valid passport
- Occasional travel required
- Able to work Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility required
- Demonstrates flexibility and embraces change with ease
- Ability to make decisions, critical thinking skills
Preferred
- Flight Instructor background with an aptitude for teaching would be an asset
