- Current Command Instrument Rating (Aeroplane) (Multi-engine) with 3 renewals
- CASR Part 61 Flight Instructor rating
- CASA approved PMI or Cert 4 in Training qualification
Preferred time
- Grade 1 FIR with MEAI, CLR MEA, DF and TR training endorsements
- Current or previous Flight instructor Rating Grade 1 (Aeroplane) Multi-engine (or Military equivalent)
- Current or previous Check Pilot (Aeroplane) Multi-engine (or Military equivalent)
- Turbo prop experience

Additional requirements
- Ability to Operate as a RFDS Aeromedical Pilot
- Demonstrated situational leadership, and logistic management ability
- This role may be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, will be subject to criminal history and may be required to undergo a preemployment medical assessment. There may be a requirement to travel in QLD for this role and work out of hours maybe required to respond to unscheduled outages and major incidents affecting critical systems.
