Additional requirements
- Extensive understanding of the Training Manual.
- Extensive understanding of FAR 135 requirements.
- Strong technical abilities including competence with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
- Strong understanding of aviation and the training environment.
- Strong understanding of staffing and training requirements.
- Must successfully complete required instructor training in Company Training manual.
- Experience working in the aviation industry.
- Prior experience as a flight or ground instructor.
- Current and qualified in aircraft if teaching aircraft systems.
Preferred
- Operational experience in a 14CFR Part 121 or 135 air carrier, or Military Aviation experience
- 2+ years of experience in a management role as a Director of Training, Director of Operations, or other 14CFR Part 119 position or military equivalent
- Experience working with training programs such as CTS or Bridge
- Bachelors degree in aviation or a related field of study or 4 years of equivalent aviation experience.
