Additional requirements

Extensive understanding of the Training Manual.
Extensive understanding of FAR 135 requirements.
Strong technical abilities including competence with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
Strong understanding of aviation and the training environment.
Strong understanding of staffing and training requirements.
Must successfully complete required instructor training in Company Training manual.
Experience working in the aviation industry.
Prior experience as a flight or ground instructor.
Current and qualified in aircraft if teaching aircraft systems.

Preferred

Operational experience in a 14CFR Part 121 or 135 air carrier, or Military Aviation experience
2+ years of experience in a management role as a Director of Training, Director of Operations, or other 14CFR Part 119 position or military equivalent
Experience working with training programs such as CTS or Bridge
Bachelors degree in aviation or a related field of study or 4 years of equivalent aviation experience.
