  • Be able to communicate effectively and have a high level of technical knowledge and skills.
  • Be able to work effectively with individuals having diverse backgrounds and experience.
  • Be able to effectively evaluate a student's learning progress based upon established standards of performance relative to the student's experience and stage of development as a pilot.
  • Familiarity with the following: Single-engine Airplanes (Basic and Complex), Flight Training Devices (Simulators), Ground, Training Aids, Record Keeping Systems Aircraft, University, FAA and TSA Documents and Manuals, Personal Flying Equipment (to include State of Alaska required Survival Gear)

Summary

  • Preceptor CFI I: $30.31/hour
  • Preceptor CFI II: $32.47/hour
  • Preceptor CFI III: $35.89/hour
