Additional requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Check Airman experience or be able to obtain Check Airman certification
  • Expert knowledge in 14 CFR 121 or 135
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with internal/external customers and maintain interdepartmental relationships
  • Collaborative leader and team player; strong communicator; able to give and get direct feedback
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Must possess strong oral communication skills to describe issues and resolutions accurately and succinctly
  • Present numerical data effectively
  • Prioritize and plan work activities autonomously; use time efficiently; plan for additional resources; and set goals and objectives
  • Autonomous, organized, and detail oriented with a desire to learn and grow daily
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications

Preferred

  • Airline Transport Pilot Preferred
  • Certified Flight Instructor-I preferred
  • Experience with Complete Flight, Aviation Weather Sentry, Outerlink, One Call, and ForeFlight are preferred, not required

Status and Schedule

Full Time

Monday-Friday, 40 hours (On-Call)

Extended periods of traveling to various customer locations - 50%

Summary

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance for employee & family insurance premium paid 100% by Metro (if declined, employee will receive $5,000 stipend per year)
  • Short Term Disability insurance premium is paid 100% by Metro; benefit includes 2/3 of salary for up to 90 days; Covers loss of medical certificate
  • Long Term Disability insurance offered at a minimal charge; Pays 2/3 of salary for up to age 65 for full disability or up to 28 months for loss of medical certificate
  • 401k = Metro will make matching contributions of 75% of salary deferrals on contributions of up to 7% of gross salary
  • PTO (Accrued per pay period 5-15 days annually depending on length of employment)
  • Sick leave = 6 days per year
  • Paid Holidays = 7
  • Paid workover available

  • Use of company aircraft for ATP rating
