Preferred time
- Previous experience in role or familiarity in aerial suppression operations is an asset, but not required.
- Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset.
- Preference will be given to pilots having experience with turbine engines and low altitude operations like aerial application or fire suppression.

Additional requirements
- Be legally permitted to work in Canada in the Federal Aviation sector
- Successfully complete FPL ground and flight training program, including a pilot competency check.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
- Be capable of obtaining a clean Criminal Background Check.
- Hold a valid Canadian driver license or a federally recognized international license.
- Capable of obtaining a clean Driver Abstract.
- Hold a passport valid for at least 30 days after the end of any employment.
- Have a modern smartphone with an up-to-date operating system capable of running secure company communication apps, as well as a laptop or device capable of accessing email and suitable for reading small print, such as for exams
- Have CSA approved footwear
