Previous experience in role or familiarity in aerial suppression operations is an asset, but not required.
Experience in a Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI is an asset.

Be legally permitted to work in Canada in the Federal Aviation sector
Successfully complete FPL ground and flight training program, including a pilot competency check.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Be capable of obtaining a clean Criminal Background Check.
Hold a valid Canadian driver license or a federally recognized international license.
Capable of obtaining a clean Driver Abstract.
Hold a passport valid for at least 30 days after the end of any employment.
Have a modern smartphone with an up-to-date operating system capable of running secure company communication apps, as well as a laptop or device capable of accessing email and suitable for reading small print, such as for exams
