Minimum requirements
- 300 hours of U-2 First Pilot time
- 1,000 hours of First Pilot time
- U-2 Instructor Pilot
- U-2 Functional Check Flight Qualification
- Flight Test execution experience
Additional requirements
- Top Secret clearance
Preferred
- Graduate of Military Test Pilot School or equivalent
- Above average communication skills
- Top Secret/SCI clearance
Job description
The U-2 Test Pilot will:
-Have direct involvement in the development of the next generation of U-2 cockpit, avionics and navigation systems
- Test and Evaluate innovative new capabilities and sensors for the U-2 and other platforms
- Conduct Functional Check Flights (FCF) on aircraft completing the Periodic Depot Maintenance (PDM) process.
Compensation and benefits
Summary
- The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $160,600 - $302,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
