Work conditions
The service PAL Aerospace provides to LifeFlight requires the applicant to thrive in a team environment and adapt to mission-based flying. All program pilots and Air Medical crew are stationed at the LifeFlight base together for 12-hour shift rotations around the clock. The pilot schedule is based on a 4 shift on 4 off rotation, each shift rotation will consist of 4 days or 4 nights consecutive followed by four days off. The aircraft is dispatched on a 20-minute readiness to fly upon request for a mission.
