Prior flight instructor in multi-engine land airplane and instruments as CFII/MEI, FAA Certificated Air Carrier IP/CP, or equivalent military experience.
Possess a thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
Demonstrated leadership abilities, interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
Must possess valid Passport.
Must reside or be willing to relocate to CONUS; preferably the Austin-San Antonio or Atlanta area.
Be able to travel to accomplish training and job duties up to 50% of the time.
Preferred
Possess a good working knowledge and experience with MS Office or Office 365 computer programs and/or database programs.
Possess or be able to hold a Class I Medical Certificate
Prior experience as IP/CP particularly in FAR 135 or 121 air carriers, including simulator instruction.
Job description
Serves as a ground, flight simulator, and aircraft Instructor Pilot/Check Pilot (IP/CP) to accomplish required training and testing in accordance with applicable portions of 14 CFR, Company Operations Specifications, and company training program requirements. The SAAB 2000 IP/CP conducts required training and testing for pilot, instructor, and check pilot candidates and coordinates with the Chief Pilot and Director of Training on matters relating to SAAB 2000 operating procedures, training, and testing.
The SAAB 2000 IP/PC will maintain Pilot In Command (PIC), IP, and CP qualification in the SAAB 2000 and any special mission capabilities associated with SAAB 2000 flight operations. The incumbent will be available to function as PIC, as needed, in both revenue and non-revenue flight operations, domestically and internationally.
