A Restricted Operator Certificate - Aeronautical (ROC-A) Radio License
Top Secret security clearance - RCMP Top Secret security clearance - This factor is not used at the pre-selection stage. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is responsible for the security clearance process.
All applicants for positions within the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be subject to a thorough security clearance process which includes an interview wherein questions may include (but not limited to), reference checks, previous employment, on-line activities, credit checks, alcohol and/or drug use.
In addition to an unrestricted Category I Transport Canada medical validation certificate, the candidate must meet the minimal health standards as assessed by RCMP Health Services. This includes a full medical assessment, laboratory test(s), psychological examinations, vision, colour vision and hearing standards (colour perception and visual and hearing acuity standards).
Must successfully complete the Air Services Special Constable Member Training.
Must successfully complete the line indoctrination as indicated in the Air Services Fixed Wing Operations Manual (FWOM).
Must successfully complete any additional required and/or recurrent training and qualifications as indicated in the Air Services FWOM, the Canadian Aviation Regulations and RCMP policy.
You must be willing and able to a) relocate anywhere in Canada. b) spend long hours in travel status (relief duties, training, overnights for regular flights etc), and c) as Pilot in Command, accept all responsibility for decisions respecting the safety of aircraft and passengers in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Summary

Salary: $117,764 to $134,092
