We are seeking a PC-12 rated Captain (Pilot-in-Command) who is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our PC-12NG aircraft in commercial air service under Subpart 703 of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs). Operating primarily under IFR and in single-pilot and/or multi-crew configuration, the Captain ensures that all flights are conducted in accordance with Transport Canada regulations, FAA regulations, the Company Operations Manual (COM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The position requires sound aeronautical decision-making, strict adherence to safety standards, and the ability to manage all aspects of IFR charter operations, including customer service, ground handling, and operational control liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
● Exercise full authority and responsibility for the safety of the aircraft, passengers, cargo,
and crew in accordance with CARs 703 and company policies.
● Conduct flight planning, including weather assessment, fuel requirements, performance
calculations, and alternate planning.
● Operate company aircraft in compliance with CARs, the Company Operations Manual,
SOPs, and Transport Canada requirements.
● Ensure compliance with operational control procedures, including flight authorization
and flight watch requirements.
● Complete all required pre-flight, en route, and post-flight inspections, checklists, and
documentation.
● Manage abnormal and emergency situations using company non-normal procedures and
decision-making models (T-DODAR).
● Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to passengers and clients.
● Maintain accurate journey logbook entries, operational records, and company reports.
● Supervise ground handling, fueling, and loading/unloading activities to ensure
compliance with aircraft limitations and company procedures.
● Maintain personal qualifications, currency, and proficiency in accordance with Transport
Canada and company training programs.
