Additional requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Passport with at least 6 months remaining at all times during employment period
- Must be highly knowledgeable of the general operations manual, FAA Regulations, operations specifications, flight manuals, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures
- Must be able to complete our pilot training indoctrination program consists of: ground school, online computer based training, flight training in the aircraft during normal operations. At the conclusion of this a pilot is expected to perform at a level to pass the appropriate 135 checks to qualify as a company SIC
- FCC Restricted Radio Operators Permit
- Must be able to pass FAA drug/alcohol screening, background checks and submit to random drug test when required
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to execute flights of up to 4.5 hours up to a total flight time of 10 hours per day during a 14 hour duty period
Work conditions
Workload
Flight crews can expect to average 65 flight hours a month.
On Call & Days Off
On Call periods will require flight crew to be within approximate two hours of the airport and in a fit to fly state.
Days OFF, the pilot will not be expected to be available for Advanced Air.
Schedule
Rotation schedule for this position is based off of an 8 Days on, 6 Days off model.
