Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate experimental aircraft as Pilot-in-Command in accordance with regulations and company policies.

2. Review development and certification flight test plans and reports for assigned flight tests.

3. Participate in the planning, coordination, and short-term scheduling of tests to be performed on assigned test aircraft.

4. Coordinate with flight test engineers as required to ensure the aircraft is configured properly to meet the test objectives.

5. Prepare and distribute Flight Reports after each assigned test flight.

6. Act as Pilot-in-Command during FAA evaluation flights.

7. Identify and report customer and certification issues to Program Management.

8. Support Honda Aircraft production flight test and corporate flight activities on as-needed basis.

9. Other duties assigned by the Chief Pilot - Experimental Flight Test.
