  • Have more than five years of professional aviation experience.

  • Have over 3,000 flight hours as an aircraft pilot.
  • Have a minimum of 1,000 flight hours as pilot-in-command in multi-engine aircraft weighing over 12,500 pounds.

Additional requirements

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Passport
  • Have the ability to travel domestically or internationally for up to 16 weeks per year.
  • Live or be willing to move within two hours of KBJC. Some or all work must be performed on-site at RAF and/or at remote field sites that are domestic or international.
  • Thorough understanding and expert-level knowledge of FAA Regulations.

Preferred

  • Hold an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • Have a Gulfstream IV/V/G550 type rating.
  • Have an L382 type rating or significant experience with four-engine turboprop aircraft.
  • Have ten years of professional pilot experience, including extensive global operations.
  • Have Familiarity with Honeywell Flight Management Systems.
  • Have technical proficiency with Foreflight (Dispatch, RWA), Arcsky Manuals, Gmail/Drive, and Microsoft 365.
  • Have an understanding of ISBAO and Safety Management Systems.

Summary

  • Annual salary range: $145,000 - $160,000 (Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, and skills relevant to the role)

  • UCAR contributes 10% of your eligible pay into your retirement account; 100% fully vested on day one
  • Starting minimum accrual of 20 days of personal time off each year (prorated for less than full-time positions)
