Flight time notes
  • 4th or 5th Gen Fighter Aircraft Pilot Experience such as F/A-18, F-16, F-15, F-35 or F-22F.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a fighter Formal Training Unit (FTU) instructor.
Preferred time
  • Previous flight and training experience in the F/A-18 Legacy and Super Hornet Aircraft.
  • A combination of F/A-18C and F/A-18E Super Hornet experience.
  • F/A-18 Fleet Replacement Squadron Instructor Pilot.
  • F/A-18 Division Lead.
  • Top Gun Weapons and Tactics Instructor.
  • AMRAAM Instructor.
  • Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System Instructor.
Last flight
Relevant flying experience within the previous eight (8) years at hiring date.
