Job description

Bighorn Airways, Inc. is seeking an experienced pilot to join our team, this position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of customers and employees and be involved in a growing company.

This position requires flying a Dornier 228 for the US Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management as well as overflow for FedEx and UPS during the Christmas peak season

We operate these aircraft in the Rocky Mountain Regions of the Lower 48, and in the state of Alaska This job entails flying large aircraft at slow air-speeds in mountainous terrain with unfavorable weather conditions. You will be dropping Smokejumpers in remote locations, and dropping para cargo at low level. Point-to-Point Missions in IFR conditions are also required.
