- 1500 hours total experience on aircraft >5700kg MTOW
- 2000 hours as pilot in command of multi-engine aircraft
- 500 hours as pilot in command of turbine or jet aircraft

- Ability to pass the HOTC / HOO interview with CASA
- At least 6 months experience in the conduct or management of air operations
- Have a satisfactory record in the conduct or management of training and checking in relation to air operations
- Extensive previous Instructor/Examiner/Check Captain experience within a Part 121 operation
- Current IRMEA with 2D and 3D approach endorsements;
- Hold a Flight Instructor Rating including IR, FIR, G1 and TR DHC8 training endorsements (desirable);
- Hold a Flight Examiner Rating including IR, TR and ATPL testing endorsements (desirable);
- Strong administrative skills in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel) and Adobe Reader;
- The ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identity Card).
Preferred
- DHC8 type rating (desirable);
