Minimum requirements
- Minimum of 1000 flight hours
- Minimum of 2000 flight hours preferred
- 1000 hours jet aircraft preferred
- 250 hours make and model preferred
Additional requirements
- FAA Commercial certificate with appropriate category and class ratings
- Instrument rating
- Valid FAA Second class medical
- Valid FCC radio operator certificate
- Bachelors Degree
- Willing to work a flexible and often changing schedule
Preferred
- Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with appropriate type ratings
- Factory school within the last twelve months
Job description
Brown & Brown is accepting applications for a First Officer position flying a Citation XLS+ and/or Citation Sovereign. We are a FAA Part 91 operation flying primarily domestic with occasional international flights.
The First Officer (FO) reports to the Chief Pilot. This individual is responsible for assisting the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. The First Officer is responsible to the Captain of the flight for the conduct and execution of assigned duties. Individual may be assigned to perform other duties related to the general activities of the department when not engaged in flight operations
