Minimum requirements
Additional requirements
- Experience using safety management systems and Flight and Duty Limitation schemes
Preferred
- 4 years + experience in the aviation industry, including Part135 operation
- Operational IFR flight with one or more instrument rating renewals
- A current instructor rating (D, B or senior C category)
- Cessna 208 type rating or similar turbine experience
- ATPL subjects and BTK exam
- Familiarity with Aviation IT systems (Air Maestro, Aeronet etc)
Job description
As a line pilot you will be instrumental in the day-to-day flying of the Cessna 208B Caravan on Part 135 operations, reporting directly to the Chief Pilot. Duties will include flying the Caravan on scheduled freight operations as well as Part 91 flying operations when required. As the Line Pilot you will also be responsible for aircraft husbandry, as well as supporting the management team administrative tasks and community and Industry engagement activities. This position will be based in Kerikeri from April 2023 but we are flexible on start date, work hours and location prior to this date, from which we anticipate an increase in role-related activity.
