Job description
This is a great opportunity to join the National Parks and Wildlife Service Flight Team (ParkAir) as a Fixed Wing Pilot. You will be responsible for ensuring all operations comply with CASA regulations as well as department policies, develop flight plans, provide specialised aviation operations including fire management, feral animal management, disaster relief, flora and fauna survey as well as the transport of personnel and equipment.
The position requires an extensive knowledge of the capabilities and specifications of the particular aircraft that are flown in the Flight Unit, Cessna 208B EX (G1000 panel). Low level flying experience is required for this role.
Taskings regularly involve VFR, IFR and low-level operations in the same day.
Frequent travel around the state and overnight stays will be required in this role.
