Additional requirements
You have a valid Restricted Radio Telephone Operator's Certificate.
You are in possession of a valid passport or ability to acquire.
You have the ability to pass Canadian/U.S. Transport Agency security screening.
You have knowledge of Aeronautics Act, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR's), and Commercial Air Service Standards.
You have knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
You can understand and adhere to ministry air operations to safely operate aircraft according to regulations.
You have extensive knowledge of float, water-bombing and instrument flight rules (IFR) transport flight operations.
You have an understanding of worker responsibilities as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
You have well developed communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with Nav-Canada, flight services, fire and air service staff, and a wide variety of client groups.
You have good judgment skills in order to apply sound pilot decisions.
