- Current FAA Commercial Pilot or higher certificate and the appropriate category and class Ratings.
- Current and qualified as an Aircraft Commander (AC) in the MC-12W or qualified as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) BE-300 or similar type aircraft and the following conditions are met prior to personnel on-boarding:
- BE-300 type-rating and Proline 21 differences certification.
- 1000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours (all aircraft flown) and 300 hours in similar type aircraft.
- Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operational flight experience.
- MC12W/BE-300 ISR variant pilot crossflow among all service branches is allowed as long as ISR requirements are met.
- Qualified MC-12W pilots possessing an FAA Commercial Pilot certificate with instrument rating or an ATP with 100 hours in type may fulfill Second-In-Command (SIC) requirements while operating with a qualified PIC who meets the pilot requirements listed above, however a waiver to DCMA 8210.1D co-pilot hours requirement is required.
- Current on simulator refresher training IAW 11-2FTV1, or able to refresh currency after hire date.
- Current 11-2FTV1 guidance in Table 4 requires simulator refresher training every 365 days for pilots. Pilots not current on this requirement may be hired onto this contract but will be approved on a case-by-case basis.
