Have completed at least 2,000 hours of flight time as a pilot of aeroplanes and 450 hours of flight time under IFR, of which 250 hours as an instructor
Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) OR have completed at least 800 hours of flight time under IFR, of which at least 400 hours shall be in aeroplanes.
Multi Crew Cooperation Instructor (MCCI) OR have completed at least 500 hours as pilots in multi-pilot operations on aeroplanes OR hold or have held a TRI certificate for multi-pilot aeroplanes.

Job description

The Islander Class Rating Instructor (CRI/E) is responsible for ensuring that all Islander pilots are trained to the highest standards set by the Company and the CAA under existing legislation. The role is dual-purpose, with responsibility to the Head of Training to run the Islander ATO and DFO for the AOC Training Department (through the Senior Base Pilot).
