Ability to meet all Transport Canada Chief Pilot requirements and demonstrate knowledge to the Minister regarding the content of the operations manual, the air operator’s certificate, operations specifications, and the regulations and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure safety.
Must meet Transport Canada requirements in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulation 725.07 (2) (b).
Must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge to the Director of Flight Operations regarding the content of the Company Operations Manual, as well as all other flight operational and company manuals and the Approved Check Pilot Manual
Must be able to obtain Approved Check Pilot (ACP) approval from Transport Canada if required, according to the requirements of the ACP Manual 10th Edition / Revision One (4.0 Approved Check Pilot (ACP) Accreditation / 4.1 General ACP Requirements).
This role involves significant travel to the head office and aircraft operations. Employment depends on obtaining Transport Canada approval to act as the company’s Chief Pilot.
