Additional requirements

  • Maintains an ATP type rating in Boeing 757 aircraft
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university and a minimum of fourteen (14) years' experience.
  • Requires DOD Secret clearance with an up-scope to TOP SECRET/SCI.
  • Class II FAA Flight Physical
  • Proficient in FAA FAR Part 91/121/125/135 rules and regulations.
  • Military experience managing and coordinating flight operations and/or aircraft maintenance operations in a management, officer or senior enlisted rank, capacity is desired.
  • Check-Flight Instructor, CAT II/III and RVSM certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Big Safari/ WINI contract programs a plus

Job description

Accountable for leading a select team of professional flight crews and Contract Logistics Support personnel under his/her authority, ensuring operations, training and safety management goals are met. Responsible for developing, scheduling and coordinating all training, certification, and qualification activities to ensure requirements are met. Ensures crew scheduling and complies with flight and duty time limitations. Develops standard operating procedures. Works in close coordination with the customer to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support outstanding customer service. Takes timely and appropriate action in response to accidents, incidents, and other reports. Position will require short notice travel and on-call responsibilities. Lifts and maneuvers equipment and material to assist end-user with loading and unloading the aircraft. Single Point-Of-Contact (POC) for the end-user and customer at numerous levels with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills required to allocate L3 resources within the constraints and requirements of the contract. Accountable to L3 C3ISR Program Management Office (PMO) Rockwall.
