Additional requirements

Initial experience in collaborating in an international environment within a matrix organization.
Several years of office experience and at least five years of management experience in a comparable organization or function, as well as comprehensive knowledge of: Relevant operating and maintenance regulations of the European Union (in particular comprehensive knowledge of Regulation (EU) No 965/2012) and the associated rules, requirements and procedures; Comprehensive knowledge of the structure of operational documentation (OM A to D) including familiarity with relevant quality systems and (safety) management systems, management of change and root cause analyses; national, European and international laws and regulations relating to the area of Flight Operations; Audits such as IOSA and other security and compliance audits
Strong security and compliance orientation, as well as the ability to consistently enforce standards.
Experience in the digitization of operational processes and data-driven flight operations optimization.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, including with government agencies.
Analytical and structured working style; ability to prioritize in safety-critical situations.
Change and stakeholder management (e.g., for new routes, new patterns, leasing arrangements).
Conflict resolution skills and decisiveness (e.g., in disciplinary and dismissal decisions).
Knowledge of business management principles and experience in budget planning and management are desirable.
Confident demeanor and negotiation skills with external and internal partners in German and English, as well as assertiveness and strong communication skills.
Very high level of commitment and flexibility
Excellent English and German skills (both spoken and written) are required for this position.
