- Must have served as a Captain at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Applicant should be familiar with technology required for the job

- Simulator Instructor, Simulator Check Airman, or Aircrew Program Designee experience at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier within the last 24 months
- B737 type rating and line pilot experience
- Sun Country pilot experience
Job description
Sun Country Airlines is currently accepting applications for Non-Seniority List Instructors
Sun Country Airlines is seeking highly experienced Professional Aviators to join our team as Non-Seniority List Instructors (NSLIs). The NSLIs will supplement our existing cadre of Instructors and Check Airmen by conducting B-737 pilot qualification training (procedures, maneuvers, and line oriented) in Flight Training Devices under the approved Sun Country Advanced Qualification Program.
As a daily contractor, the NSLI will conduct training events in Integrated Procedures Training devices and Full Flight Simulators for the Sun Country Training department. The NSLI will be subject to initial, periodic, and random performance reviews both as a pilot and as an instructor during Initial and Continuing Qualification training
Compensation and benefits
Summary
- Pay starts at $500 per event (8 hours ground event or 4 hours Simulator time plus brief/debrief)
- Positive space travel on Sun Country from residence to/from training location for training assignments
- Hotel room is provided if residence is more than 50 miles from training location
- Active NSLIs receive S4 standby/non-rev privileges on Sun Country
