Minimum requirements
- Commercial Airline experience of 5 years.
Additional requirements
- SMS training 3-5 days from industry accepted agency/Institute.
- Lead auditor training from industry accepted organization.
- Accident Investigation Training.
- Broad knowledge and experience in a commercial Airline.
- Advance skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- General knowledge of International and Local Aviation Regulations, Safety Management System.
Preferred
- IOSA Auditor training preferred.
Job description
Flight Safety Subject Matter Expert for Flight Operations and Training. Identify hazards and develop mitigation measures for operational risk management and continuous improvement for the overall organizations SMS performance.
Key responsibilities:
1. Analysis of FOQA/FDAP events, trends and identify the deficiencies/deviations from SOPs, initiate corrective actions.
2. Routine and random monitoring of CVR Readouts for detecting deviations from standard operating procedures
3. Participate in internal Safety audits whenever detailed as safety audit team member.
4. Organize and conduct crew counseling to address the deficiencies detected through the CVR monitoring.
5. Ensure timely preparation of CVR transcript for significant incidents.
6. Assist in preparation of Safety Risk assessments with operational inputs and their mitigation measures.
7. Assist in SMS activities and Flight Safety Analysis program
8. Any other duties assigned from time to time by the Chief / Dy Chiefs of Flight Safety.
