- When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft. Applicants invited to interview must provide appropriate documentation of all flight hours.

- Minimum of 300 hours of AT-802 series experience
- AT-802 Factory Authorized IP certification

Additional requirements
- Valid State Drivers License
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or,
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience and 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience as a Department of Defense Flight Instructor/Evaluator
- Air to Ground ordnance delivery and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) flight experience or, AT-802F aerial tanker experience may be considered for this requirement
- Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain that clearance.
- Criminal history records check and a background check will be performed
