Additional requirements
Successful candidates will already have a UK Issued Frozen ATPL Pilots Licence, Current Class One Medical, have completed a Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and hold a valid UK driving licence.
Along with this, you will have completed an APS MCC Course or alternatively an MCC and JOC course and will possess strong ATPL Theory exam results.
You will have also maintained your flying currency through training and/or regular flying (allowing for disruption due to the pandemic).
It is desirable for candidates to be in possession of an Advanced UPRT completion certificate.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of office IT systems. In addition, you must be flexible as we may require you to work from any of our 10 UK Bases.

The Jet2.com Pilot Apprentice Scheme has continued to provide fantastic career opportunities for Pilots entering the world of commercial aviation several of our first Pilot Apprentices have already been promoted to Captain. Throughout your time as a Jet2.com Pilot Apprentice you will receive support and assistance through our dedicated Apprentice Mentoring system geared towards preparing and developing your skills in order to take the next steps for your Type Rating and beyond.
You will spend time at both our commercial and operational headquarters in Leeds to see what it takes to deliver an award-winning customer experience. Over the duration of the course, we will organise simulator, in-person and virtual training sessions to develop your skills and understanding of our business. Training and working as Cabin Crew will help you see how we operate onboard and equips you to deliver our VIP customer service. You will also spend time in the crew room at one of our bases supporting the management team in all aspects of the operation. The whole experience puts you in the enviable position of understanding the complex nature of our successful Airline and holiday business.
