Minimum requirements
- Minimum 5,000 hours in turboprop and/or turbojet aircraft
- Minimum 500 PIC hours on A350
- Minimum 2,000 hrs PIC on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet with MTOW > 50 tons

- Valid ATPL from country with diplomatic relations with PRC.
- Valid passport from country with diplomatic relations with PRC.

This position is offered through Longreach Aviation.
Longreach Aviation is pleased to offer Captain positions for type rated crew on the Airbus A350 with China Southern Airlines.
China Southern is an airline headquartered in Guangzhou, China. It is the worlds 6th largest airline measured by passengers carried, and Asias largest airline in terms of both fleet size and passengers carried.
From its main hubs at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport, the airline flies to 121 destinations using a fleet of 422 aircraft.
China Southern currently offers 485 flights a day from its Guangzhou hub and 221 for its Beijing hub. The airline provides services to 65 international destinations. Most of the international flights link between Guangzhou and world cities.
Reverse Rostering Ports:
Guangzhou, Paris, Amsterdam, London with reverse rosters available to Brisbane and Melbourne, with Sydney and Perth likely in the near future.
Work conditions
Commuting with 8 days off each month
Block hours - 80 per month
Compensation and benefits
Summary
- Salary:
- Year 1: $19,000 if type rated, otherwise $18,000
- Year 2: $19,000 per month
- Year 3: $20,000 per month
- Year 4 and after: $21,000 per month
- Overtime: $250/per hour
- Safety bonus: $6,000 per year
- Training salary:
- $200/per day initial training, then
- $400/per day, however full salary is payable after 3 months (if type rated) or 6 months (non-type rated)
- Travel:
- Return commuting flights once a month on CSA network
- Standby economy class tickets on CSA network for pilot and family as follows:
- 1st Year: Up to 6 return tickets
- Thereafter: 6 return tickets per year
- Insurance:
- personal Loss of Income insurance, Life Insurance plus access to further benefits
- Longreach provides all of its pilots with access to our group Loss of Income insurance and Life Insurance underwritten by Lloyds of London, with selectable levels of cover up to US$10,000 per month for 24 months, plus a lump sum of up to US$550,000. In addition, all Longreach pilots are automatically covered by our emergency medical insurance and travel benefits package.
