Flight experience of minimum 1,000 hours on the aircraft types not included in Turkish Airlines fleet (Accepted First Officer Wide Body Aircraft Types List), or minimum 500 hours on the aircraft types (A330/350 - B777/787) included in Turkish Airlines fleet (simulator and line check hours excluded)

Work conditions

Duty schedule

Pilots duty schedules are published on 24th of each month if the calendar month is 31 days; published on the 23rd if the calendar month is 30 days.

Commuting roster option

Commuting roster is offered to both First Officers & Captain Pilots, that is, 3 weeks on / 1 week off. Confirmed tickets are provided only to the Captain Pilots to use before and after the block off days.

Summary

Turkish Airlines arranges and provides the work permit for all expat pilots.
Pilots have private health insurance; they can also include family members in exchange of a small fee.
First Officers Salary: Approx. 33,000 TL
Any hours flown above 70 hours is regarded overtime hour and will be added to the total salary.
