Job description

Wizz Air UK is offering experienced First Officers from the USA and Canada with UK or Irish heritage the opportunity to relocate to the UK with a sponsored UK license conversion. Please complete the form below to register your interest.

We currently have 18 x A321neo and the first 3 x A321XLRs with bases in London Luton and London Gatwick. We plan to grow to 50 aircraft.

Rosters are random or fixed 5 on 4 off. Almost exclusively 2 sector days out and back and home every night. You can live 90 minutes away which covers London, Oxford, Cambridge, the Cotswolds for example.

Summary

First Officers would be eligible to apply for command in as little as 12 months (depending on hours when joining). Upon upgrade, Captain starting salary is around 150,000GBP including flight pay ($195,000US), increasing to over 200,000GBP with seniority ($260,000US).
We offer FAA (or other ICAO licence) to UK licence conversions. We will run assessments in the US and, if successful, we will allow 12 months for you to complete the UK CAA written exams and get an initial UK medical before your start date. Certain costs incurred for this will be reimbursed once you join. We will also provide access to an online course to help you with the study.
